Brent has always had a reputation for being a professional.

Since he began selling real estate in Nelson and Tasman over 10 years ago, he has become by sheer hard work and enthusiasm, one of Nelson’s most well known and respected real estate professionals.

After a distinguished 12-year career in the New Zealand Army, where he served in the First Intervention Force against Militia Attacks in East Timor and received a commendation for Outstanding Professionalism and Leadership whilst under fire in Bosnia, Brent has achieved outstanding results in Real Estate.

Wendy Lovering – Operations Manager

Wendy joined Xcellence Property Management in January 2009 after previously working in the real estate industry for two years as a real estate agent.

Wendy has a strong background in business management and administration, with over ten years management experience in the competitive Auckland building industry, including growing and managing her own residential construction company, before joining the real estate industry.

She is passionate about the work she does, and pays great attention to detail. Wendy’s sole focus is customer satisfaction. With her dedication to the individual interests of the clients – she has, with the support of an experienced property management team, grown the business to double what it was when she started with Xcellence Property Management.

Barbara Winter – Property Manager

It is with great delight that Barbara joined our successful team of Property Manager’s in July 2010, bringing with her over 4 years property management experience in the Nelson Tasman area.

Barbara is a sort after member of our team by both owners and tenants alike and has built up a large property management portfolio which includes Nelson, Stoke, Tahunanui and some of Richmond and even Motueka.

Gail Warne – Property Manager

Gail being the longest standing member of our team, joined Xcellence Property Management in June 2008 after previous experience on the administration side of real estate and property management.  Her work history includes 13 years in banking plus 7 years assisting in setting up and managing a swimming pool and spa retail outlet as well as various other clerical/customer service positions.  These experiences, along with her past community involvement, have equipped her well with many skills applicable to property management.

Gail’s enthusiasm, experience and dedication shows in her extensive portfolio of properties and covers areas from Richmond through to Tapawera, Tasman, Upper Moutere and Mapua.  It gives her a great deal of pleasure to provide owners with quality tenants and equally important to find quality tenants good homes.

Jan Rosie – Maintenance Manager

Jan has worked within the real estate industry for over 10 years, first on the front desk, then being a personal assistant to various agents. Jan joined Xcellence as the administrator before moving into a Property Manager role for two years.

Due to our rapid expansion Jan has now taken on the role of Maintenance Manager. With her warmth and enthusiastic personality, Jan is a huge asset to our Team.

Lauren Penney – Property Manager

Lauren is the newest member of our team operating out of our Stoke office covering the Nelson, Stoke and Tahunanui areas.  Lauren comes from a background working as a Tenancy Manager for a well known property management company in Christchurch and describes property management as her passion.

Lauren was born and raised in Nelson and after being away for 5 years is very happy to return home.
